A glued-in tubegun chambered in .260 Ackley Improved. Unsurpassed rigidity and accuracy is achieved by gluing-in the action.

Raw components, Borden Rimrock SSR action featuring the Borden Bump, Eliseo Chassis in Coyote Tan Cerakote, Jewell trigger, Bartlein 6.5mm 5R 32" finished barrel, and 260AI reamer/Go-gauge.

Machining the tenon.

Fully machined breech, beautiful surface finish, a little metal-free anti-seize goes a long way.

Action is fitted and timed to the curvature of the barrel of course. Provides maximum adjustments of elevation on scope, balanced  windage adjustment travel, and ensured the optimal harmonics for the barrel.

Trial fitting the action to the chassis, marking area to leave unroughed.

Roughing the chassis internal mating surface, preparing to glue-in.

Action is roughed, putty seals area of unwanted epoxy, release agent applied to screws, all mating surfaces degreased. Ready for glue-in.

Epoxy is applied.

Mating barreled action to chassis.

Alignment is verified, all in the details.

Cleaning excess epoxy. Looking good.

Bedding scope rail for maximum accuracy.

Cleaning excess epoxy.

Rifle complete.
